内容介绍 :	Leung Lai-wah and her father Leung Kar-kat live together. Because of her ill health, Lai-wah has not been able to realise her dream of becoming an actress. Her best friend Law Man-to is the head of a drama troupe. With failing business, the troupe is forced by theatre manager Mr Cheng to evict the premises, but Cheng's daughter, Ming-mei, persuades the father to think twice. Ming-mei also supports the troupe with her own saving so that it may carry on performing. Writer Ho Kar-sing discovers Lai-wah's talent by chance, and recommends her as the lead player for a show. But Man-to pretends not to know Lai-wah in front of Ming-mei, making her furious. During rehearsals, Kar-sing and Lai-wah become close, with Man-to pretending not to notice. Ming-mei eventually finds out that Man-to and Lai-wah are long-time acquaintances and is angry with Man-to. After revealing to Ming-mei his admiration, Man-to resolves their misunderstandings. Lai-wah accepts Kar-sing's courtship. Their play, On the Wrong Track, is a success, and Lai-wah becomes an overnight star. Though both pairs of lovers marry, their constant disagreements lead to many farcial situations. (Based on viewing of the film.)
