内容介绍 :	Architect Feng Shibin resigns his job to marry Lin Pinzhen, cousin of his old schoolmate Zhou Wansen. Pinzhen later regrets the marriage. Shibin is bitterly disappointed. When he is called home because of his father's illness, Shibin marries Ah Xiang in the hope of hastening his father's recovery. After the wedding, Shibin leaves with Ah Xiang to come to the city to look for jobs. Meantime, Wansen has also married a village girl, Lili. Shibin meets his old colleague Tao Jinghe and is re-employed in his former company. Ah Xiang is three months pregnant, but due to lack of nutrition and overwork, she suffers a miscarriage. After her recovery, Ah Xiang resolves to change her over-thrifty ways. Wansen, meanwhile, is trying to make his wife Lili into a modern lady, but Lili is lured to becoming a social butterfly. One night, Wansen sees Lili dancing cheek-to-cheek with Little Zhang, a minor employee in a foreign company. Wansen is enraged. Lili finally runs away with Little Zhang. One day , Ah Xiang sees Lili on the streets and quickly informs Wansen, who rushes to his wife's side and pleads with her to come back.
