内容介绍 :	Fan Zhongkang is a mine owner, whose daughter Jingxian is in love with the young engineer Shen Xiwen. Bai Weixiong is Zhongkang's adopted son, a ne'er-do-well who desires Jingxian. Having given her love to Xiwen, Jingxian is put off by Weixiong. Zhongkang becomes terminally ill. Before he dies, he bequeaths the running of the mine to Xiwen and instructs Jingxian to marry Xiwen. After the marriage, Xiwen devotes himself to the business of his late father-in-law, incurring the hatred of Weixiong, who plots to do away with Xiwen . Weixiong seizes the chance to strike a blow against Xiwen when the latter carries a large amount of cash with him to buy a plot of new land to mine. Xiwen is ambushed on the way and is buried alive inside a mountain cave. He is rescued by his dog, Aile. After a series of deadly struggles, Xiwen's faithful dog eliminates the villain, and Xiwen is finally reunited with Jingxian. (Based on a newspaper article.)
