内容介绍 :	At his wedding, Zhuo Jiabai comes to witness his bride Jing Xuemei being blackmailed by her cousin Wang Mingzhang over a past liaison and leaves for Singapore in a fit of rage. Since his departure, Jing suffers the tortures by her mother-in-law and Wang's incessant extortions until she is expelled for adultery. Zhuo, who finally gets to read Jing's painful account of her rape by Wang in a letter she gave him on their wedding day, immediately returns to Hong Kong hoping to make up for his mistake. Dealt a further blow by rumours of Jing's secret liaisons, Zhuo files a divorce but the failed marriage leaves him a heartbroken man. Meanwhile, the news of his engagement with a cousin devastates Jing. To eke out a living, Jing works as a nightclub singer where she meets again Zhuo as the couple untangle their misunderstandings and leave for a new start in Singapore. (Quoted from DVD cover)
