内容介绍 :	Shum Sam-pak, famed scholar of Suzhou, has a noble temperament. He and his wife Madam Wan indulge in the pleasures of nature , poetry and fine wine. However, their good time is cut short when Shum is banished from the house by his father who believes the slander spread against him by his stepmother and brother. Shum is impoverished while Wan falls ill. As Shum desires, the family is reunited on the Mid-Autumn Festival with the help of an old friend. Wan dies not long after. Shum vows to give their children a proper upbringing.
