内容介绍 :	Fishing folk Alian abandons her lover Asen in pursuit of her dream to become a star. Manager Zhang helps Alian to achieve stardom and in turn uses her to curry favour with Comprador Chen. Provoked by Zhang's favouritism towards Alian, Li Ping, a taxi dancer, scars Alian's face. A disfigured Alian returns to her native village, only to find Asen a married man and a dying mother waiting for her prodigal daughter's return on her deathbed.
