内容介绍 :	Orphan girl Shen Yunlan and Shaomei, the son of her foster father Gu Songmei, are childhood sweethearts. When Shaomei leaves for Shanghai to pursue his studies, his aunt moves in on the pretext of being dumped by her husband. Her underlying intention is to seize the family fortune by joining her daughter Lu Huizhen with Shaomei in marriage . Gu later passes away after an illness. The aunt and her husband move in and lead Shen to believe that Shaomei has had a change of heart. They plot to poison Shen but Huizhen falls victim to the scheme instead. In a fire ensues, Shen selflessly saves Huizhen and leaves to devote herself to orphanage work. Shaomei manages to track down Shen with Huizhen's help. All misunderstandings are resolved. Shaomei backs Shen in pursuing her aspiration.
