内容介绍 :	Mak Yuk-sheung marries Tang Tsi-ming at her father's behest despite being in love with So Yuen-ying. Tsi-ming, on the other hand, pretends to be dead in order to be with the woman of his free choice. Meanwhile, Chow Sun-do brings with him poisonous porridge to declare his love for Tsi-ming's sister Chau-ha. The porridge is eaten by the mother by mistake. Mak is accused of murdering her mother-in-law and stands a trial presided by the three magistrates So, Tsi-ming and Chow. Chow recounts events on that fatal day and clears Mak's name.
