内容介绍 :	Chow Chung-man hastens home for the consummation of a marriage arranged by his father Tai-tak when he meets and falls head over heels for Wong Fung-sin, incognizant of the fact that Wong is in fact his promised bride. The new acquaintances discuss plans to run away from their nuptials. Tai-tak, also enamoured of Wong, mistakes her for the village girl Sam-chu and entrusts a marriage proposal to the matchmaker, who fears that Tai-tak will find the bride's appearance repulsive and guilefully invites Wong's father Pak-kwai to meet the elder. His eyes firmly set on Wong, Tai-tak harasses and pesters the woman relentlessly until Chow arrives to break the impasse. Pak-kwai shows up and gets into a heated argument with Tai-tak but both flee at the mere sight of Sam-chu. Wong resorts to planning a fake suicide with her arranged wedding looming large. Startled by the painful wailing of Chow by her side, Wong wakes up to embrace her true love, and the marriage proceeds as arranged.
