内容介绍 : | As the down-and-out Cheung Chi-keung turns to drugs out of frustration, the family burden falls on his wife Lee Wah-chen who seeks work in a foreign trading firm with her friend Yip Chui-lan. The women make the acquaintance of Chow Choi-ping, supervisor Ng Tat-ming and footman Old Wu's son Tak-yan, a medical student. Coming from a myriad of backgrounds, the colleagues are united by a budding friendship and mutual support. Lee is deeply troubled by her idleness at work, running the occasional errands to deliver parcels to their clients. The puzzle is solved when she opens the parcels before her colleagues—all along she has been used by the boss Lo Wing-nin to smuggle drugs. The colleagues join hands to wrestle with Lo, leading to the successful crackdown on his smuggling ring . With Tak-yan's help, Cheung overcomes his drugs problem through rehabilitation. |
