内容介绍 : | Emperor Zhengde wants to make Pak Yuk-lan his imperial concubine . Empress Dowager opposes because Pak used to be a literary courtesan and expels her from the court. The emperor, along with eunuch Lung-hing, embarks on a search for Pak and forsakes his imperial past for an ordinary life with her. The couple, aided by Lung-hing, first open a dumpling shop and when that fails, eke out a living as street acrobatic artists. Wounded by a thug, Pak faints at the doorstep of Magistrate Ho Tai-kwan. Captivated by her beauty, Ho wants to make Pak his concubine, but Pak extricates herself by feigning madness and reunites with the emperor and Lung-hing who pose as Taoist exorcists. The fugitives are captured by Ho, and the emperor about to be thrown into jail. At this point the prime minister arrives with the tidings that the Empress Dowager has changed her mind. The emperor returns to the royal palace and crowns Pak the imperial concubine. (Qouted from DVD cover) |
