内容介绍 : | Palace maid Lam Siu-wan is expelled by the empress who finds out she is pregnant with Crown Prince Sai-luen's baby. Travelling as an emissary of goodwill, the crown prince is detained by a barbarian tribe and forced to marry the princess. Escorted back as a puppet ruler, Sai-luen spots Lam and her newborn son among the crowd but dares not acknowledge them. 12 years pass. Sai-luen crosses path with his son Wan-yee on a hunting trip, and impressed by his martial skills, Sai-luen invites the youngster to join his ranks. Unforgiving of his abandonment, Lam instigates her son to be unruly, mocking the ministers and teasing the barbarian princess. Wan-yee also presses the emperor to summon Lam to court where the family reconciles. Lam is made Empress of the East Palace. Determined to make his country strong, Sai-luen succeeds to throw off the domination of the barbarian tribes. (Qutoed from DVD cover) |
