内容介绍 :	Orphans Tai-ming and Siu-lan are taken in by their abusive aunt Madam Wong, who still bears a grudge for losing her lover to her sister. Wong Pui-kei returns to spend the New Year with his family and finds Wong's behaviour outrageous. Filled with indignation, the male servant Ah Kan encourages the children to leave the family, but the siblings are lost in the city. Siu-lan is taken home by Teacher Lee while Tai-ming is coerced into committing crimes by gangsters. Working as a shoeshine boy outside Siu-lan's school, Tai-ming meets his sister and Ah Kan again, the latter has come to enrol Madam Wong's daughter at the school. Ah Kan takes the two children home but Wong takes them back by force and falls down the cliffs to her death amid the chaos. Pui-kei takes it upon himself to raise his nephew; Lee adopts the children and ends their miserable days of wandering.
