内容介绍 : | Under the constant threat of enemy attacks, the king of Golden Horse Kingdom sends his son Kam Chen-pong to woo the amorous princess Fei-luen of Bronze Lion Kingdom with hopes of entering a military alliance with the tenacious state through marriage. Posing as a valet and palace maid, Kam and his lover Chiu Mei-neung make their entrance with Mei-neung's brother Ting-chung disguising as the prince but the fake prince blunders his mission. The wedding proceeds as the princess commands. General Pang Kwai-ming is dispatched to hunt down and kill the siblings, but the coward brother gives his sister's hand to the general to preserve his life. Saddened by the caprice of love, Kam and Chiu each make their flight back to their kingdoms but are intercepted by Fei-luen and Pang. Kam unleashes a thunderbolt of hostility and puts his sword to Chiu's neck but slowly puts the blade down when the woman's sufferings unfold in Ting-chung's recount. The Golden Horse army, reinforced by the Bronze Lion troops, wipes out the enemy after which the royal wedding of Kam and Chiu takes place. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
