内容介绍 : | (Continued from Part One) Kong Chi-ping agrees to a scam marriage with Chik Hon-mui and raises the daughter sired by Ng Kar-chun as his own to avoid the shame that would befall her should the truth is known to her mother. Staggered by grief, Hung Sau-fung leaves Kong. However, the maintenance of the daughter Choi-ha exacts a huge financial toll on Kong, who is still struggling to get over Hung. Tormented by his struggles, Chik decides to follow in the footsteps of her singing coach and embarks on a career of touring performances. The neighbour Uncle Shek Kau, who sympathises with Kong's quiet sufferings, chides Chik's mother for pinning the blame on Kong and his financial ills . Disheartened by the revelation, the mother falls seriously ill and never recovers, which further aggravates Kong's woes. Hung returns home and learns the elder's death. She agrees to stay and take care of the ill-fated daughter to relieve the burdened father. ( Continued in the Concluding Episode.) (Qouted from DVD cover) |
