内容介绍 : | Colonel Wong Tin-ba of the Judge Sze office disguises as a scholar to acquaint with Seventh Madam Kam of Drunken Moon Brothel to investigate a case when he starts a feud with the seasoned patron Cheung Tsat. In retaliation, Cheung's sworn brother Chu Kwong-cho presents plans for Cheung to give his daughter Kwai-lan in marriage to Colonel Wong, hoping to secure his alliance and influence to wipe away the shame. Cheung's disciple Hon Sing, a bitter suitor of Kwai -lan, gangs up with Chun Ching to steal the judge's royal plague to incriminate Wong. The wedding is called off at the eleventh hour when the true identity of the groom is known. Wong is summoned to the judge's office to look into the theft. Kwai-lan smells a rat and feigns affection toward Hon to probe into the whereabouts of the plague. Consumed with jealousy, Wong engages Hon in a fistfight and strikes Chun dead with a dart by mistake. Enraged, Chun's master summons Wong and confronts the suspect . Kwai-lan and Chu come to Wong's aid and seize the plague amid the chaos, only to have fallen prey to a contrivance weighing a thousand catties... (Continued in Part Two.) |
