| 内容介绍 : | Madam Shing admires her younger cousin Fu Ching-wan, but Fu's heart belongs to the village girl Kwai Heung-lan. Love turns sour. A revengeful Shing makes Kwai a maid-servant in her household, and forces Fu to join the army. Meanwhile, Kwai is pregnant with Fu's child, and later gives birth to a son named Lui-din, which literally means thunderstorm. When Lui-din turns seven, Fu runs away to reunite with his family, only to be arrested immediately. Lan agrees to marry Do-toi as his concubine in exchange for the Shings' endeavour to redeem Fu. On her wedding day, Lan attempts to kill herself to guard her chastity, but is intercepted by Shing. Shing kills Do-toi by mistake amid the chaos and shifts the blame onto Lan. Loyal servant Fong uses his wits to save Lan and arranges for her to live anonymously in a foreign land. He also pledges to raise her son. Lui-din grows up and meets Kwai and Fu again. Fu is invested with the title of the inspector-general in recognition of his bravery in saving the life the crown prince. Fu loses no time to redress the wrong done to Lan. The family reunites.
