内容介绍 : | A man assumes the identity of the son of a Southeast Asian magnate to complete the purchase of a mansion in Hong Kong through a middleman, their family friend Wong Man-ting. Wong disappears the day after meeting Ma King-kwong, owner of the apparently haunted property. The real heir Chu Ying-chiu arrives in Hong Kong and poses as the fiance of Wong's daughter So-ha to seal the deal with the impostor at the mansion. But Chu too disappears after revealing his true identity to Ma's daughter Wan-sin. So-ha receives a letter from her father entrusting her the mission to save the mansion from falling into the hands of the impostor, who unmasks himself as Detective Lee Kei-lun assigned to the case. So-ha and Lee visit the haunted mansion where they witness the murder of Ma and wife. Wan-sin spills details of the conspiracy concocted by the chauffeur and gardener which coerces Wan-sin and her parents into posing as the deceased Ma family to claim the property. She leads Lee to the rescue of Wong and Chu. But an internal strife leaves the gardener murdered ; the chauffeur is delivered to justice. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
