内容介绍 : | (Continued from Part One) Ho Kam-ying's son Siu-cheong is in love with Suk-yee, daughter of Man Sai-cheong. The snobbish Siu-cheong greets Ho's return from Brazil with mockery and ridicule, but Lee Kwok- kuen and his daughter Po-lin stand up for the helpless woman. Ho chances on Sai-cheong at the engagement party of Siu-cheong and Suk-yee, but mistaking her for a fickle woman, Sai-cheong heaps scorn on her. Lee leaps to her defence and speaks of her grievances and selflessness in bringing up Siu-cheong. At once shocked and appalled, the young lovers break off their engagement. But bearing a grudge against his mother, Siu-cheong leaves home and is later stabbed by ruffians in a row. Despite her ill health, the frail mother insists to give blood for her son's operation. A remorseful Siu-cheong reunites with his family and marries his ardent admirer Po-lin. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
