内容介绍 : | Swallow Thief robs the rich to give to the poor and yet the persona behind the mask still eludes the public eye. Detective Li Debiao contracts the well-respected veteran Jiang Shoushan to capture the wanted man. To coax the suspect out of the dark, Jiang's granddaughter Yinniu concocts a scheme whereby she goes on a crime spree to frame Swallow, who unveils himself to be Li beneath his bandit masquerade . With awe and admiration, Yinniu exchanges the marriage vow with the hero. Their nuptials infuriate the captain of the detective squad, Lu Laoyi, who takes Li into custody in connection with the Swallow Thief investigation. Jiang resorts to committing crimes in Swallow's persona to help acquit the unjustly convicted, but the plot is seen through by Lu. As a last resort, Jiang raids the prison while Yinniu kills Lu with a concealed weapon. The father and granddaughter, together with Li, flee to seek safety. |

备注 : | Director Griffin Yue Feng: Martial arts films of the past relied heavily on special effects to give the momentary thrill Scenes of daggers being spat out of the mouth, hauling mountains and crushing waves and an array of invisibility powers such as disappearing into the earth, waters and fire were nothing more than cheap thrills 'The Swallow Thief' appeals to the audiences with its 'realism'each move, block, throw, choke, and lock is broken down step by step In shunning the use of special effects, the cast has to master the martial arts to rise to the challenge in order to bring the real thing to the audience (Extracted from the film brochure) Action choreographer Han Yingjie: [I first used trampolines] when Griffin Yue Feng made 'The Swallow' in 1961 I was the double for Linda Lin Dai and experimented with a seven by five feet trampoline I did a somersault, the camera followed with a vertical pan, and the 'weightless leap' was born!
