内容介绍 :	Terminally ill Siu Long is on his deathbed. Before he dies, he asks his best friend, Man Ying, to look after his sister, Siu Kam, who lives in Guangzhou. Ying and Kam soon become intimate. Ying also admires Siu Kam's singing talent. However, Ying is reliant on his relative, Luk Cho-sam, manager of a record company, whose daughter, Heung-ling, admires Ying. Kam also has another admirer Auyeung Cheuk, complicating their relationship. Ying and Kam plan to go to Hong Kong to get married, but Kam falls ill and is unable to travel. She writes to Ying to explain this but the letter is intercepted by Heung-ling, who changes the content of it. Upon receiving the letter, Ying is angry at Kam's change of heart . On impulse, he decides to marry Heung-ling. When Kam arrives in Hong Kong several days later, Ying has already become Heung-ling's husband. Carrying Ying's child, Kam is forced to make a living as a singer. Ying's marriage is an unhappy one. Cho-sam dispatches Ying to Guangzhou to manage a branch company while Kam goes to Guangzhou to discuss a record deal. It turns out that the contact person is none other than Ying. Still resentful and angry, Ying upbraids Kam and makes her leave in a huff. Later, when he goes to her apartment, he sees Cheuk carrying a baby and acting as if he were married to Kam. A quarrel ensues between them and results in Ying leaving in anger. Kam signs a contract with another record company and becomes a popular star. When Ying discovers the truth and seeks a meeting with Kam, it is too late. Kam has died from an illness. Ying pours out his grief before Kam's grave. Heung-ling arrives at the scene and promises to take care of Kam's daughter. The pair are reconciled. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
