内容介绍 : | Yang Wei is adopted by his uncle after losing his parents. His uncle sees that although the young man is quite intelligent, he is not focused enough in his studies. He therefore sends him to a deserted ancestral house so that he will not be distracted from concentrating on study. On the first night of his stay, Wei hears a female ghost reciting an unfinished poem. When Wei tries to finish the poem for her, the ghost, Lian Suo, appears in human form to thank him. After that, the two spend the nights chatting and having a good time together. Wei's family and friends try to put an end to his infatuation with Suo, but to no avail. An official from hell craves for Suo and threatens her with the charge of trespassing on the mortal world. When the uncle finds out about Wei's seeing a ghost, he forces him to return home. However, Wei sneaks back to the haunted house to wait for his love every night. Suo, however, is no longer free and can only ask a girlfriend to give Wei a message to tell him not to think of her anymore. Wei begs the friend to arrange for him to see her again in his dream, in which the two meet. The ghost official appears and Wei manages to kill him and take his lover to freedom in the human world once again. When they reunite in their love nest, Wei's uncle goes as far to burning down the house in an attempt to exorcise Suo's spirit. Determined to prove his love, Wei embraces Suo and together, the lovers throw themselves into the raging flame. |
