内容介绍 :	Shanghai, 1930. Shun Sai-kwan is a quiet introvert. His best friend Hui Suk-wai introduces him to the confident and lively Ku Man-ching. Kwan and Ching fall in love with each other. However, Ching's elder sister Man-lu has been a dance girl to support the family. Though Kwan does not mind, his conservative parents do not want to have Ching as their daughter-in-law. Lo marries businessman Chuk Hung-choi but Choi has a crush on Ching. Lo is sick and Ching stays at Lo's home to take care of her. Cai rapes Ching on the pretext of being drunk. Lo wants to secure her status and persuades Ching to be Choi's concubine. Ching refuses but she is locked up and pregnant. She escapes after she gives birth in the hospital. Kwan loses contact with Ching. Lo does not help him. Kwan is disappointed and marries Chui Chi. However, Chi actually loves Hui, who goes to the USA. Ten years later, Hui comes back to China and meets Chi again. He feels very sorry. In the meantime, Kwan also meets Ching again. They then know what has really happened in the past. However, they cannot turn back the clock.
